How the homeless are affected by drugs, and the reality of overdosing.

Updated: Mar 27

We are competing with drugs to get the homeless off the streets and drug-free. You may ask how we can compete with drugs. Well, drugs beat us so often by getting the homeless off the streets and it's usually not in a good way.

Sometimes this process happens way before we can even get close enough to try and help them. Fortunately, we learn from experience and our mistakes. When we meet the homeless drug addict, we know that fentanyl is in every drug on the streets; we do a fast forward and get to know them faster, providing what they want as soon as possible within reason and show them love, till they are ready to get help.

We mourn the loss.

Be it as it may, reflecting and writing it down is sad. As we minister to the homeless drug addict, we become close friends with some of them. Unfortunately, even the ones that we become close to do not survive the elements. We must consider ourselves hospice workers instead of evangelists, leading as many to CHRIST as we can. Drugs are the thief that comes in the middle of the night that takes lives.

Ask God for help

If you never received Jesus as your lord and savior and would like to know about him.

Say this short prayer:

Lord, forgive me my sins, come into my heart, and make me into the person you want me to be.In Jesus name we pray.

Romans 10: 9-10 T.N.T the dynamite verses.

9 because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth, one confesses and is saved.

God bless you.
