A mission to help the homeless

Updated: Jun 29

Our Mission is straightforward; we bring the Love of Jesus to the streets where the homeless hang out, and we become friends with the less fortunate.

We are a faith-based homeless outreach organization centered on the mercy and forgiveness of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We extend that love to the homeless. Everything we do is goal oriented. With two simple goals. Lead the individual to Jesus of Nazareth, and get them off the streets.

Our mission takes us to tent cities and the darkest corners of Suffolk County to serve those in need in Jesus' name. We provide food for the homeless, bottled water, personal hygiene products, tents, clothing blankets, friendship, and Love. We are with them when they become sick and tired of being sick and tired. We have been successful in building friendships and saving lives. We here at HomelessLongIslan.org not only help the homeless get off the streets but also aid them in becoming detoxed and rehabilitated.

Our mission is one of persistence and patience; the homeless problem is an epidemic, with over 3800 reported homeless on Long Island alone.

Our vision is to help as many people as possible by getting souls off the streets clean and sober. When we get them an address, we can help them get a job, stabilize their life, and get them back in touch with their loved ones.

We were hoping you could help us help the homeless. How can you help? You can help by praying for the Homeless on Long Island. Also, pray for wisdom for the homelesslongisland.org team. Please also in prayer ask God how you can help us help the homeless.

Think about your worst day, whether you had the flu or wanted to fly the coup, then add to that situation being homeless and alone in the world. Just imagine

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭35‬
